Smoke in the Valley

The Annual Smoke in the Valley Charity BBQ Cook-off is hosted by Prem Meats in Spring Green, WI. Competitors will present their best Ribs, Chicken and Appetizers for a chance to win First Prize! All proceeds are donated back to our local Spring Green community.

How’d it all get started? In 2013 some friends in the River Valley area decided they wanted to host a BBQ Cook Off Competition.  Since then it has grown into an event filled day full of live music, pizza samples, beer and wine samples, a bean bag tournament, more competition teams than we originally had room for, and so much more!

In 2022 alone we had over 1,200 people pass through our gates.  We are so fortunate to be able to grow our event each year and continue to provide new experiences each year.

Every year it grows and evolves but the meaning of the day stays the same with  proceeds from the day go directly back into the local community!
